COACHES

Michael Dickey: Holds a USSF ‘A’ license and a German Soccer Federation ‘B’ license, has over a decade of experience coaching at all levels, both domestically and abroad.

PLAYERS - Women

Karina LeBlanc: Goalkeeper; Canadian National Team/Boston Breakers, WUSA.  Karina played for the Women's World Cup Team in 1999, and started for the Under 20 team in the Pan American Games.  She was the twenty-first player selected in the WUSA Inaugural Draft on December 10, 2000.  In her senior year at the University of Nebraska, she finished fourth in the nation in goals against average with a 0.40.  She was 2000 Hermann Trophy Finalist, and was named College Soccer Online Third Team All-America.

Jaclyn Raveia: Defender; New York Power, WUSA. Jaclyn was the fourteenth player selected in the WUSA Supplemental Draft.  She received NSCAA First Team All-American honors as well as the Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2000.  Jaclyn was the first player in the history of the University of Richmond women's soccer team to garner first team accolades; she was an honorable mention All-American in 1999.  Moreover, she was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Defender of the Year for 1999 and 2000.

PLAYERS - Men

Brian Alvero: Defender/Midfielder; Charleston Battery, A-League. Brian was named to the East squad for the fifth annual Umbro Select All-Star Classic in recognition for an outstanding collegiate career. He is a tenacious defensive midfielder with solid technical abilities.

Kevin Alvero: Striker/Midfielder; Pittsburgh Riverhounds, A-League. Kevin is a very intelligent and skillful player. He is known for having a knack for the goal. During his college career, Alvero racked up 42 goals and 27 assists for a total of 111 points. As a member of the University of South Florida Team, he twice earned All-Conference USA honors, and in 1999 was selected as a candidate for both the Hermann Award as well as All-American honors.  

Dewan Bader: Midfielder/Sweeper; Baltimore Blast, MISL. Dewan is a highly skilled and intelligent veteran of the professional soccer ranks. He has been playing professionally for six years, during which time he was a member of the 1994 NPSL Champions, the Cleveland Crunch. Dewan's vision and soccer intelligence are trademarks to his success, and make him a very valuable commodity for any team.

David Bascome: Midfielder/Striker; Bermuda National Team/ Harrisburg Heat, MISL. Bascome is an 9 year veteran of the Bermuda National Team and has played professionally in the U.S. for 7 years. He possesses tremendous speed, skill and intelligence. A 1996-97 and 1998-1999 member of the NPSL All-Star team.

Raymond Goodlett: Defender/Midfielder; Richmond Kickers, A-League.  As a rookie defender out of Howard University, Raymond was an integral part of the Hershey Wildcats’ success during the 1999 season. He is a very intense, skillful and intelligent player. A former youth national team player, Ray was captain of the Howard team for 3 years and was called up to D.C. United during the summer of 1999.

Scott Henderson: Defender; Philadelphia Kixx, MISL. Scott, a nine year veteran of Professional Soccer, is a very poised and intelligent player. He has been a consistent force throughout his professional career, starting with his NPSL Rookie of the Year award in 1990 to being selected for the 1998/99 NPSL All-Star team. For the past 3 years, Scott has been a stalwart defender with the very successful Kixx. Moreover, while on loan to Staten Island during the summer of 1998, Scott helped the Vipers reach the A-League playoffs.

Jim Hesch: Midfielder; Philadelphia Kixx, MISL. Jim is a very skillful midfielder who has established himself in the A-league and has also recorded very impressive stats during his five seasons in the NPSL. Jim was selected to the 1997-98 NPSL All Star team.

Brian Hinkey: Midfielder; Cleveland Crunch, MISL. Brian is an ideal play maker who possesses tremendous skill and vision. His creativity and understanding of the game are trademarks to his success. Hinkey was honored as a 1996 Parade All-American as well as one of Soccer News’ Top incoming Freshman. His college career has been a mark of consistency. Brian has racked up 91 career points. Hinkey has also been honored with All-Virginia, All-South, and was the 1999 CAA conference Tournament MVP.

Kevin Jeffrey: Striker; Richmond Kickers, A-League. Kevin is an out and out goal scorer who possesses very good pace and one-on-one ability. He has received All-American, All-South Atlantic Region, and All-CAA honors. During the 1999 season, Jeffrey scored 18 goals in only 21 games. In 1997, Kevin led Yavapia College to the National Junior College Championships with 31 goals and 15 assists. Jeffrey is likely to be another in a long list of Trinidadian natives to make waves in the U.S. professional ranks.

Carlos Garcia: Striker; Baltimore Blast, Virginia Beach Mariners, A-League. Carlos is one of the most prolific offensive players in the College of William and Mary history. He is one of the top-three all-time career leaders in every offensive statistic, including among others, points (191, second), goals (45, third), and assists (31, third). Carlos has as received All-South Atlantic Region, and All-CAA honors since his sophmore year.

Jamel Mitchell: Striker; Atlanta Silverbacks, A-League. Jamel began the 1998 season as a member of the Kansas City Wizards. During the previous year, he was the 3rd leading goal scorer in the A-League as a member of the Nashville Metros, and a Rookie of the Year candidate. Jamel was selected as an alternate to the 1999 All-Star Team, and was voted to the All A-League 2nd team. He led the Wildcats in points, and was key to the Wildcats' success during the 1999 season.

Rodney Rambo: Defender; Long Island RoughRiders, A-League. Rodney is a graduate of the University of Portland. He was voted one of the top 50 incoming freshman by Soccer News Magazine in 1993. In 1995 & 1996, he was selected to the All-WCC 1st team. Rambo is a very tough and talented marker, who was drafted in the second round by the Kansas City Wizards of the MLS.

Wendell Regis: Midfielder/Defender; Baltimore Blast, MISL. Wendell is a very creative player who possesses great quickness and good vision. His work rate and ball winning ability has attributed to his success as an A-League player, an indoor player, as well as a member of the Trinidadian Olympic Team.

Carlos Rocha: Striker; Kilkenny City F.C., Ireland. A former member of the New England Revolution, Carlos is a young talent with a tremendous knack for the goal. He was the leading goal scorer for the Revolution during the 1998 pre-season. Carlos's skill and crafty one-on-one ability proves troublesome for any defense. Carlos has played professionally in both England and Portugal, and was also a member of the 1999 A-League All-Star Team.

Gregory Simmonds: Striker; Miami Fusion, MLS. A rookie sensation out of Howard University, Greg took the A-League by storm and was voted the 1999 Rookie of the Year. Despite finishing Howard as the 7th leading goalscorer in the nation, Greg was overlooked by nearly everyone.  He went on to lead the Hershey Wildcats in goals, and helped the team to the Semi-finals.  Greg is tremendously skillful and is lethal around the net.  Simmond's performance in his rookie season has sparked tremendous attention from many of the MLS squads, as well as a number of teams overseas.  Moreover, his exploits earned him a call-up to the Jamaican National Team. 

Carlton Williams: Defender/Midfielder; Wichita Wings, MISL. Carlton is a very intelligent and consistent player. During his rookie season, he was selected to the 97/98 All-EISL Team, and was runner-up for the Defender of the Year Honors. After being drafted by the Dallas Sidekicks in 1997, Williams has played for the Baltimore Spirit and the St. Louis Ambush of the NPSL

Mike Williams: Defender; Hershey Wildcats, A-League. Mike has proven himself one of the top defenders in both the A-League and the NPSL. He has been a starter for the Wildcats since their inaugural season in 1997.  During that time, the team has won their division twice and has twice reached the A-League semi-finals.

Adonis Maxwell: Striker; Jamaican National Team, New Orleans Storm, A-League.

Manny Motajo: Defender; Los Angeles Galaxy/ New England Revolution, MLS.

Chris Thomas: Defender; Jamaican National Team, Hershey Wildcats, A-League.

J.J. Wozniak: Goalkeeper; San Francisco Bay Seals, A-League.
