Greg Simmonds, Hershey Wildcats' rookie sensation, has been called up to the Jamaican National Team for a series of games against Saudi Arabia in Southern California this week. Greg, who has scored 10 goals in 15 games for the Wildcats, has finally received some assurance that his efforts have not gone unnoticed. He is quickly proving his worth within the league, and all indications suggest that he is sparking attention from a number of MLS coaches.

Greg Simmonds, the A-League Rookie of the Year candidate, struck again this weekend. Simmonds led the Hershey Wildcat's with the game winning goal and an assist in their 4-0 victory over Richmond, to help the team clinch the South Atlantic Division Title on Friday. Throughout the season, Simmonds has consistently been among the league's leading goal scorers. Greg finished the regular season with 16 goals and 6 assists, for a total of 38 points.
